I HAD 32% on my 2 fronts for about 3 months untill yesterday when I got pulled over by CHP and given a fixit ticket to get it removed. The tint shop couldn't believe it as we went with 32% as not to be too obvious.

Plead not guilty. If the tint meters are anything like the radar guns they should give you a + or - of 2. When we check the radar guns we use a tuning fork and have been taught if the fork is a 40mph fork as long as it is within 2mph either way it is working properly. Not sure about the tint meters though, but you might get a sympathetic judge and then again you might not.

Actually in CA. it is against the law to tint ANY windows forward of the passenger windows ie. drivers windows and windshield. Only factory tint is allowed.

right on my truck is blacked out with 5% limo tint, nice in the day time hard to see at night, and backing up, i invested in a set of driving lights for the rear so i can see now............somewhat...lol
