Could it be in the drive line? Try coasting in nuetral about 55-60 mph. If that does if it is driveline related it should get worse. Only other thing is to check the tires for balance. I know the tires sound too simple, but 'fenders talked me into tires when mine started this death shake under braking. I had everything checked first then replaced tires that look real good. He was right...heis always right and that just makes me so mad

Its is because the driveline is free. Its not pulling and it is not holding back either, so there is nothing to dampen the viberation. There is a point where driving down the road in gear you can ease up on the gas a little and get that same float but this other way is usually a lot faster to define a problem.

Another thought on your viberation. Has your truck been lowered. If it has did they change the pinion angle. If the pinion angle gets either to flat or too much you will pick up viberation.
