I saw that 65rancheroguy put a 65 Comet front end on his Ranchero. I am new to this forum so I can't e-mail him direct. I would like to talk to anyone that has done this.

I was wondering what it took to get it on. I was hoping that it was a bolt on. But I don't always get what I want. hahaha The other thing is I am looking for a front end if you happen t know where I might find one let me know please. I wouldn't mind finding a hole care if the price was right. By the way I am in NC. Thanks for the reply.

It's a total bolt on as far as the sheet metal goes, but of course you'll have to re-do the headlight wireing since your changing from 2 to 4 headlights. Check out your local junkyard for body parts, or try Crites Restorations if you want fiberglass parts. http://www.critesrestoration.com/index.htm
I'll try to get some pics up n the next few days, I just got done stripping mine down for new paint!
By the way, mine is a Ranchclone!!!

I checked out one of the old yards this morning. There is a '61 or '62 Comet there with the front end intact, not in great shape but there. Look me up, I'm ranchero at bellsouth dot net, I have pictures. I sent you an email from your profile page, not get it?
