Shrek 2

Went and saw Shrek 2 with the wife on Friday. Hilarious movie! I saw MOST of the first one but fell asleep near the end. The second one was by far way better. The whole cat with the fur ball was GREAT! Highly recommended. Two Thumbs up!

The cat steels the show, it has more aduilt one lines than the first show.
They are clean ................and a riot
The first quarter of the movie is slow…..then it really gets going.
The older you are the more you will enjoy the anecdotal one-liners
Any age will enjoy…..40 plus year olds will laugh hard. .

I liked throwing the mermaid back into the ocean
the 'pepper spray'
Larry King as the ugly step sister
'Unhappy Hour' on the sign in the bar
Did anyone else see the 'donky-dragons' at the end? No at the verry verry end. After about half the credits run.

"I can whinnie....I can count....I can gallop in place....etc....etc........."

I saw it yesterday, good movie. Did you notice all the nods to other movies.
Lord of the Rings
Mission Impossible
Sleeping Beauty (aside from the fairy tale characters, the fairy godmothers cabin was the cabin that sleeping beauty grew up in)

Do you guys remember any others?

Most people I talked to missed the donkey/dragon babies part. After the credits roll by there is more to see.

I saw it over the weekend. My favorite part was when the cat was slammed against the wall by the police and found his catnip, which he declined ownership and even knowing about it. The donkey-dragons at the end were funny as well. Great movie and a DVD must buy.

I saw Shrek 2 on Friday as well. What a funny movie.

I liked when Donkey was explaining to Fiona how they got the magic potion:
"We took the happily ever after potion, and now we're SEXXY!!!!!"

I thought the cat was funny when he did the "cute kitten eyes"

And all the rest that was already listed.

Oh....and it was definitely a hoot when they were all entering Far Away Land and it was like they were rolling into Hollywood. With "FunkyTown" playing in the background, I just had to laugh at that one.........

I saw that with my girlfriend when I was on vacation. It's got a lot more adult humor to it than the first one. Maybe this is a pattern we will see in future cartoons, more entertainment for the adults. If you haven't seen the movie, you should go see it.

I loved the furball part also. But by far my favorite part is where Donkey says "We're sexy!!!" I just had to laugh at that one. I actually had tears in my eyes from laughing so hard. I also just loved the donkey dragons at the end. It is really a must see for everyone, even if you don't have kids or grandkids.
