I saw that with my girlfriend when I was on vacation. It's got a lot more adult humor to it than the first one. Maybe this is a pattern we will see in future cartoons, more entertainment for the adults. If you haven't seen the movie, you should go see it.
the thing aBout the adult humor is that is not overly vulgar... i took my 8-year old daughter to go see it and we loved it... it was not like Cat in the hat, that movie was so vulgar at times, we did not stay for the end...I won't let her watch that....
Took my 2 yr old Son to it. It was his first movie in a theater. We enjoyed it very much. Liked the Adult inuendos, pretty sneaky in the way they were put in. I was really surprised how much other companies jumped on the "Shrek 2" bandwagon. Guess there was really a lot of hype.
Personally, I liked the part with piochio....the umm...ladies underwear part....yall DID catch that? I think that mot kids will not even catch most of the humor in it, so it is ok for them to see it also and the thong thing went by so fast it is doubtful most would catch that either
I saw Shrek 2 yesterday. I think I liked the original a little better, but this was still a real good movie. The fairy godmother singing during the ball was a riot.
Saw it the first day it was out. Thought it was very funny and laughed alot. I'd forgotten some of the things that have been mentioned. I don't remember the pinochio and thong part. I do the women's underwear part but nothing about a thong. After reading these posts I guess I'll have to see it again or make sure and get it when it comes out. The thing I remember was when they came into the city there was a sign for the fairy god mother that seemed like a call girl sign. I still think the chasing the white Bronco, pepper spray, and the catnip had to be about the best.
I liked throwing the mermaid back into the ocean
the 'pepper spray'
Larry King as the ugly step sister
'Unhappy Hour' on the sign in the bar
Did anyone else see the 'donky-dragons' at the end? No at the verry verry end. After about half the credits run.
yeah i saw that 'donkey-dragons'...that was pretty funny. that 'Unhappy hour' caught my eye too...it was a great movie IMO all in all...
on another note in the adult inuendo...did anyone else catch the "Glutius Maximus" thing. i thought that was kinda clever...
