Anybody use a computer control pulse device to correct speedo like Abbott ind. ERA (electronic ratio adapter) or Superlift's device?? I know all about my programable speedo and its 6 times I can do it .I am putting it on 93 Bronco -39.5 tires speed sensor on rear differential. THANKS FOR ANY-ANY RESPONSE!!!!!
The Superlift Truspeed should come with complete instructions that tell you how to program and calibrate everything. Here in a few weeks, I can tell you how hard it is.
The only problem I am running into is mounting the box (1in. thickx4in. longx3in. wide) 6inches from speed sensor on rear axle,it is not a sealed unit - you have to adjust dip settings-10 of them, and 4 dip settings for 2 or 3 wire speed sensor. Must unscrew cover to access them.
auto meter makes 2 electronic speed sensors that you can adjust. they hook into your tranny like a mustang do. you should have the hole in your tranny for it.
On the Superlift module, I was able to mount it under the dash board. They have you splice into the wiring behind the speedometer instead of a t the speed sensor in the diff. I have some pics of it in my gallery I believe. It wasent too bad and easy to adjust for different tire sizes. What brand are you installing that it has to be outside?
