ok hope this looks right on the forum here but firing order is 1-4-2-5-3-6

front of engine
4 1
5 2
6 3
-----------------
[ 5 3 ]
[ 6 ]
[ 2 ]
[ 1 ]
[ 4 ]
-----------------

ok I'm asumming you're looking for a 3.0 so there it is, and just pretend that the distributor cap I drew there is round not square.

ok that didn't work at all so cylinder one is at about 5 oclock and then just follow the firing order clockwise.

if you look at the distributer through the doghouse it is clockwise and cylinder 1 is at about 5 oclock if it still doesn't want to fire right check and double check the way you have the wires it's really easy to cross one in the tight engine compartment on these vans.

The dog house is from the rear, it's the panel between the drivers and the front passenger seat.

had the same problem, i attached the rotor, and then put on the distributor, then it would just turn over but no go....

seems, you can put on the dist 2 different ways....the right way and the wrong way...

went trhrough 3 distribs before getting it right
