I bought this old ford and it has a toggle switch that says "water injector" This is a 1973 f-250/w 390. If I flip the switch will I get water sprayed in my face? This truck does NOT have a/c.
1. hook up an old windshield washer pump to a switch and run the squirters to the front of the radiator. whe the engine gets hot pulling a hill, turn on the water and have a water cooled radiator. actually works good, too.
2> I remember something about injecting water into the engine to control detonation (?) maybe it has something to do with that.
run the wires down till you find a pump, or just turn on the switch and listen for the pump running. then run the hoses down till you see where they are hooked to and then you will have a answer. I doubt that you will get a face full of water, tho!!
