The company you are looking for is called MID-KANSAS DIESEL they are located in Salina,Kansas ph# 1-800-745-2103 or www.midkansasdiesel.com. They sell headers and exhaust systems for diesel pickups.
Hi, the only thing they have listed on their web page is rebuilt engines 6.9 7.3 I'll give them a call and see if they have exhaust parts and headers. John
MID-KANSAS diesel has the whole set up for about $850 + shipping. Headers are $550. Dual exhaust is $300. Stans Headers also has the whole set up for about for about $795 + shipping. Headers are $415 and dual exhaust is $380. The exhaust on both is 2 1/2" and is supposed to be 30-40% more efficient than a 3 1/2" single pipe. Supposedly this setup will give you about 6 hp less than what a turbo setup does through out the entire RPM range. Is also supposed to increase the redline of the engine to near 4500. According to the guy at MID-KANSAS, this is because the current redline is set because of back preassure reached at that RPM. He says that the higher the RPM's go the more hp the engine has to use to push the exhaust out of the truck. The reason I know this is that I have contacted both and am seriously considering doing this to my 1988 F350 Crew Cab.
