1952 Serial number info please

looking for info on my plate I believe it is F1
V8,Kansas City and the sequence . 114 wheel base, 96 HP @ 3400RPM
3 speed with 4.27 gear, paint code N,

I am not certain about 13ADN2170A
I am thinking 13A is the build date Jan,13,1952 would this be correct? The DN2170A I don't know, Hope you can help.

That date would make sense, EXCEPT that the serial number actually puts the build date very late in the 1952 year. Examples from my database, Kansas City serial numbers:
2399X = April 14
2599X = Nov. 4

Your number of 29676 has to be after Nov 1952. The only other explanation I could think of is if this was a left over 52 stock assembled in Jan 1953.

Does that plate match the number stamped in the frame? Because you're sure it was green, and that's the paint code for Vermillion.

I'll check the frame # later today. All of the body components have green traces.

well I went out and found the vin # on the frame it is correct with the plate. Took some pics of hidden green on ceiling in cab, where door hinges were removed, around the rear window seal area, and inside bottom area of dash where we removed the glove box cover. There is no doubt it was green.
I read something on the web about the paint code confusion for some of these old trucks, something about Ford destroying the records or there was a fire. I am getting old and my memory is not as sharp anymore. I have also seen many supplier paint charts that show N being Meadow Green, that however is suppliers charts and not Ford. ???? I have also seen on the web many mentions of N being Red. I have also seen a couple of supplier charts that show that N is Red. ??????????? All things here on this one point to N being green in Kansas City the day this one rolled out! I have never tackled a project like this and my experience is very limited on the knowledge of such a discrepancy. Here is a couple of pics

I might add I was relieved to find the Vin #s matching, I thought I checked that before we bought the truck but I was second guessing myself last night.
Overall I am very pleased with the condition of the cab as Frank got it all dissembled and ready to lift off. We have a lot of cleaning and preparation. We have one weld broke where the cowl meets the floor area by the transmission cover. The weld is only about 1 1/4" long. we get that fixed and repair one area that has a hole about the size of 1/2 dime and we will be good to go.
