I am having an intermittent problem with my left signal light. The signal functions properly until I apply the brakes. When brakes are applied the signal stops blinking. It stays on but does not blink. It will start blinking when I take my foot off the brake. Any ideas?
I've seen a couple posts where troubles in the multifuction switch have gone away after the emergency flashers have been turned on & off a couple times. Cleans the contacts in that portion of the switch I guess. Since your E-flashers & turn signals are wired thru that portion of the switch, i'd give that a shot.

Definately check out the wiring harness for your hitch. You can by them at just about any Farm Equipment merchant. I had a similar problem and narrowed it down to that. Replaced it for $25 and good to go!
I too would recomend checking out the trailer adaptor. Mine started acting pretty wierd, left rear turning signal would come on everytime I stepped on the brakes....
Reach under the bed, and unplug the connection for the trailers lights, and plug the two ends back together. Now try it out and see what happens.
I looked "under there" and the camper folks hardwired it into the Y where the tail lights split. I am thinking about re-doing their crappy job and installing a plug.
I wasn't mocking you. I just short cutted by saying under there when I meant that I looked underneath the bed, found the Y where the signals split and found their lousy job. Thanks for your help.
