Valve Lash Caps.....HELP!!!
I am replacing the heads on my 1986 Bronco, the set of heads I will be putting on I just finished doing a vavle job on. All the exhaust valves HAD lash caps on them from the factory but i bought these used heads from a guy and only 4 of the valves had the caps.
So Do i have to buy new caps or can I just install te rockers w/o the lash caps? What would the cons be of not installing the lash caps. This isnt a performance motor just a stock motor (had to fix a burnt valve is the reason I am doing this).
Also, do you think that these will work:

The 4 that I have dont have oil holes like these do....would that make a difference?
