welding nails for pulling dents
My local welder told me over a year ago when i bought my suit case welder as he would call it, that i could weld a nail where i needed to pull out small dents.The problem is retired and moved south and just in the last mounth have i tried his advice. Every time i stich the nail on and go to use the dent puller the nail comes off. I even tried to condition the metal and nails with no sucess. any one ever tried this with sucess. Thank you.

I have used a stud welder in the past, to increase the strength of the weld you increased the time,
I don't have access to one at the moment so I weld on washers with my mig and use a hook on my slide hammer
