No Power When Warm

What would cause my power to decrease (significantly) as the engine warms up????

I've got a '96 PSD with a 5sp and 226K. When engine is cold I have tremendous power and acceleration. As the engine warms up my acceleration gets worse. It's like it's starving for fuel. New Air and fuel filters. No codes are ever set. Thanks for any help.

Have you checked the fuel pressure or the high pressure oil pump? Those might be a couple of things to start with.

I took off the HPOP reservoir cover - things looked ok. I took out the filter housing/pressure regulator and thoroughly cleaned both, replaced all o-rings and fuel screen between the two. No codes are set for the ICP or IPR. I'm about to start replacing these things, but that's a lot of $$$.

When cold it seems like I have instant turbo boost. When cold it takes longer to get boost. I have yet to hook up a boost pressure or fuel pressure guage. Where do I get a boost guage?

Thanks

I meant to say "when warm it takes longer to get boost."
