another tachometer hookup question

I'm still trying to hook that tach up in my sons '95 ranger 4 cyl. There isn't a tachometer hook up on the schematic for '95 rangers but there is supposed to be a tan/yellow wire on the '92 through '94 rangers. i've been told by others to find a tan/yellow wire but i just can't seem to locate it. i've looked under the dash. does anyone have any suggestions on this? I appreciate it, Kent

Easiest place to find it is coming out of the ECU. On the firewall. It's a pain to dig through all the wires to isolate it, but it's how I accomplished it. Just spliced in and ran a new wire through the firewall and under the dash.

I think I read a post that said that wire is ran to the dash cluster,so that if you get a same year model dash with a tach,you just swap them and plug it in,and your good to go.
