I like the idea of the Brady car show in April 2005. Yea, we're all thinking something sooner....but I dont see why we cant 'put it on the books'.
Planning ahead and all.
Connie, I was thinking (sorry) since you already know of this car show, maybe if we could get some info together on the car show itself, lodging, entertainment, and whatever.....and others fall in love with the idea.....
maybe Krosati could 'put it on the books' as a "sticky".

me?? haha.. i live in lubbock.. i just took someone elses information about brady being the "center" of tx and did a search and found their city's site... i've got it bookmarked though and i will get in touch with the chamber and get the information and put it up here. there was a mention specifically to mustang clubs meeting there so why not add a truck club to it? ;-) alright guys, i'll let ya know what i find out when i find out and i'll put it here or send it to krosati so he can sticky it if he wants.

no need to apologize for thinking. it's a lot of work and if you've got enough energy to do it, more power to you!! hahaha

(edit) http://www.bradytx.com/calendar5/index.html there's the link to where i found the information. it's vague but then of course, if you think about it, it's like a year away so what else is to be expected? haha

Ya know I didnt think about you being in Lubbock. I guess if I'm gonna name a location as I did, I guess I too am responsible. It does seem like a really nice place. Maybe if everyone likes the idea, and we get some commitment, I could talk my wife into a road and scope out the area.

i put an email into the chamber down there with my info so they can mail me whatever they've got. hopefully i'll hear something back from them. i saw on that link i put up they've got a cute little bed and breakfast and there are supposed to be a few hotels.. i asked her to tell me about camping becuz aprils not too hot, and you can take a blanket at night, and i've got a huge tent and i love camping. my mom even bought an inflateable camping shower .. you blow up the shower curtain top (it's a little square) and hang it from something (not too high....) and there's a black water bag, you fill it, set it in the sun, it gets warm and badabing, hot shower.. it's not presurized but hey... it works. roughing it! hahahaha
