3M tape removal
Just wondering about the 3M tape they use to stick things to your truck, link vent shades, bed caps, etc. Can you remove the item and does it do any damage to your paint when you remove the item.

You can remove the item,but don't just pull it off,if you do the paint may come to.Take a hair dryer and blow the hot air on the item you want to remove,lets say the vent shades.You want to warm the 3m tape,that will make it sticky again...Once you remove the item,take the hair dryer and put some heat on the 3m tape thats left.when it gets warm,take credit card,or somethig plastic and flat,and lightly scrape the tape off.The glue thats left,you can buy some adhesive remover,or I use rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball.Just rub over the glue and it will roll right off. Hope this helps!
