intercool w/o chip upgrade
I just purchased a 96 psd and I am interested in building a intercoller kit for it and intercooling the eng. first. I am wondering if I will need to chip it right of the break or can I wait. And What size down pipe should I build for it (3-4). Thanks for the help.

If you plan on chipping, the intercooler will help reduce the EGTs. If you don't plan on chipping the truck you really don't need an intercooler. It will add turbo lag and you can do other less expensive things, such as an aftermarket intake and exhaust, to help keep EGTs down.
