vibration

round 45, i get nice vibration like truck going to fall apart.
unfortuantly i can't get my tires ballanced, they tell me that its illegal for them to take them off, cause the tread wear, thanks to bad ball joints in the front. the outsides of the tire wore down to the tire check mark, so they say they can't take them off. *cough*bullsquat*cough*

could my drive shaft be causeing this vibration too?

I've rotated and same vibration is there.

Maybe something in breaks causeing vibration? bearings?

Illegal? Wtf? Take your business over to a different shop. Go over the entire engine compartment and make sure no bolts are missing or loose (This is what happened to me). Then take off the belt and start it up/rev it (not too long though, no water pump turning = bad) if vibration is still there then it’s the driveline, unless you missed a bolt. Now if this vibration is only there during driving then I'd get those ball joints taken car of (should do that anyway).

to bad i posted that its in the rear of the truck, not that its a belt or ball joints.

Guy who did my ball joints i know personally, so he did it right.

its in the right rear from the feel, or in the driveshaft..

everything else is fine.

Thats at the tire shops. Its for legal matters. they suppsto do it at discount for free cause my tiers are from there. THere is plenty of tread on there, but wont take them off cause the wear guage lines are wore off. GAY!!

Thing is, i didn't want to spend money to get the ballanced when i'm getting new tires on it soon, and they will all be ballenced, and such then.

I do need one of those nice ford aluminum rims though. moron who had my truck before me, left lugs loose on one wheel, so the holes are big, and clunk every now and then when the rim slides on there, i stuck it in the front so there was no drive pressure on it.havn't heard anything out of it since.

twisted mine and felt no play, replaced them anyway and could tell a difference. after pulling them i could tell they were dry under one cap and the bearings were shot.
$13-15 each x2 = cheap fix if its it.

I'm willing to bet it's the tire, a separated tire will wobble and shake ..
Since it get worse at a certain speed. Also bent wheel will shake you out of the truck.

i've rotated, and same thing. so i'm sure its not loose. i hand tighten all my lugs.

It might be unballenced, but, i'm doubting its off bad. i've had unballenced before. dosn't seem the same.

My vibration problem was bad u-joints also, the parts were cheap but it was kind of a pain to remove the old ones
