a little tip
f 150 startied running hot, so i got it home and put a bigger elec. fan on. did that help? no it did not, started the truck up again and noticed my alternator was moving about an inch when i throttled it, so i took everything off and 2 of my bolts were sheared off,leaving only 1 bolted up. seems it wasnt turning the water pump enough to keep water pumping. of course this happened right before dark and about 1 hour after i sold my re-built 87 mustang. i guess ill dig out the tap & die set. remember to check those bolts on the 302. 2nd time this has done it and i cant figure it out. but i thing im going to weld studs after i drill the holes out and space the alt. until its inline with my pulleys and bolt it up. any thoughts, suggestions? i have another head, but thats for my 70 1/2 falcon. i would rather not use it. (cant believe im not upset about this)
