I've read that Ford delivered over 200,000 6.0L Powerstrokes and had a 500 truck buyback which is .0025%. I think you hear about more problems with 6.0L because Ford sells so many more Diesels than GM and Dodge combined.
A final observation, reading the Dodge or Dmax sites I find those folks almost consider driving a Ford a moral failing. They downright foment about Fords. We who drive Fords consider what you drive a personal choice and I have a good friend who drives a Dodge HO Cummins and another who drives a Dmax Chevy. His Allison tranny has had a few major problems.
