miscellanous questions

Do I need anything else besides a steering wheel puller and a ratchet to remove a 3-spoke (stock plastic) 67-70 steering wheel? The trim ring is already gone, I'll look for one later, but this wheel is blue and clean and I want to buy it tomorrow.

Is there anything needed to retrofit a newer seat into our trucks? Should I take the tracks from the newer truck or use the ones I have? Any cutting or drilling required?

I have found some BEAUTIFUL chrome rear step bumpers on some 1-ton trucks in these yards, mostly 80s models, they drop lower in the middle than on the outside, look like good ones for towing. Will these fit our trucks? The brackets look like the same shape, and have two bolts each, look like they come off the bumper at the same angle.

Are there any sources online for finding a wiring diagram for the 67-72 trucks? I will want to wire up a 7-wire trailering connector, as well as put in a radio and speakers. I'm sure I'll need it for other things, too, looks like I have a slow drain on the battery, had to jump it to move it today. Got a $5 Fluke multimeter at a garage sale this afternoon, can't wait to use it!

What year and model of power boosters can be used with our trucks? I found boosters in half-ton, 3/4 ton, and one-ton trucks from all different years in the yard today, oldest was on a '70 3/4 ton, same year but different model, will that work? The newest truck with a power booster still on was a '91 or so.

And last but not least, would AC and PS brackets from a Ranchero 351W work on any 351W? Would that PS pump be good enough to hook up to a PS gearbox later on? I found a '74 Ranchero in the yard today and it had a 351W in it, still had the AC compressor driver's side top and PS pump driver's side bottom.

Ok, I'll answer what I can.
Puller and a screwdriver to remove horn assy should be all you need.
Get the tracks with the seats. I think up to '96 Fords (someone correct me here if I'm wrong) will swap over. Measure your seat track width and compare it to the one you want. Holes may not always match up, but not usually a problem.
Bumper will not fit without some modification. Frames are different widths, so you will at least need to drill new holes.
There may be a wiring diagram here. Try searching tech articles, or this forum.
'71 booster should work, but don't take my work for it. I put a '78 brake system in mine. The brackets were a little different, but bolted right up. Check the brackets and the rod lengths and design to be sure. I'd be more leery of the '91, but maybe someone else knows.
AC/PS brackets from 351W should swap over, but 351C may be different. If anything, the truck has more room under the hood than the Ranchero, so it should fit. Take notice of where it bolts up and see if your motor has those same holes available (ie something else not attached).
