1/2 ton vs 1 ton Parts interchange

I spent some time at the local junk yards looking for power steering parts for my 66 1/2 ton. I was disppointed that most trucks from that era were allready scrapped out wth the exception of a few 4x4 models. These are some of the largest junk yards in my part of oHIo. I did get all of the engine acessories, pump, brackets, pulleys, but for the gear all I found was a 1969 1 ton. Can i use the ps gear from this 69 1 ton on my 66 1/2 ton? I also picked up the sway bar and brackets, will this fit?

Rikko, Take a look at this sites tech articles very top menu bar. Most of us use a complete I-beam swap from a 73-79. Everything bolts up, and it is a safe engineered system that works. When you need parts down the road, you will be able to find them at any parts house.
