Running cable through firewall.

Is there a hole in the firewall to run a thick power cable into the cabin ala F150. Finally I am replacing Ford's crappy 'audiophile' system in my 03 EB. (BTW this is the only thing where Ford messed up, everything else is A+)

You can make a hole just about anywhere you like.

There's already plenty of holes thru the firewall, just gotta look. Usually the drivers side is easier, look for black rubber plugs under the dash above the gas pedal. There's some plugs under the door sills too.

There is a black rubber plug in the firewall. From the engine compartment, it is on the drivers side (to the left of the brake fluid resevoir). You can either remove the plug or cut a hole in it.
