Suspension Kits

I have a '99 F-250 PSD 4x4 and would like to level the truck. Rancho makes two kits, one to level the truck as long as it is not a PSD. The other levels and lifts 4'' why can't I just level it? If i do go with the leveling lift kit will it void drive train warranty?

Suspension Kits

It might have something to do with the extra weight of the PSD engine up front.

Suspension Kits

Jetmech2001,

I installed the SkyJacker Leveling kit on my PSD (3" front lift) and it had no restrictions on it. It can with a Trac bar relocator and two add-a-leafs. The truck looks great.

The only thing is there is a little bump steer if I hit a dip at a angle. But it is really not bad.

I have a 2001, extd. cab, 4x4 with the PSD and I have been told by Sport Truck USA, that they can level it 2 1/2 inches with relocator brackets. This will not hurt your warranty, in most cases, if you raise your truck and the trans goes out, it had nothing to do with the lift kit, so the warranty should cover it. If a tie rod goes bad or a u-joint you may have a problem with the warranty, because lifting may affect u-joints...etc.
They recommended calling the dealer first and see how they re-act. They wanted around $800.00 to do this and it included new shocks as well. Should be able to run 315 tires.
