Hoping for a little help here. I am trying to locate a draft tube for my 59 f100 292 V8. I do have the top canister part, I am missing the flange and tube assembly, which mounts left side engine bottom of the block right behind the fuel pump. I have come up with three different part numbers no one can identify. I know somebody somewhere has one on the shelf!!!!!
Can anyone please help, even the correct part number would be a great start.
Thank You all!
312,
Thanks for the reply. As far as I know, this truck is all original, I bought it out of an estate, it sat 15 years after the original owner had the engine rebuilt, and never fired up.The engine was set back down in the frame and never completed.I am owner number three. The second owner was the grandson of the first owner.I have a copy of the 1959 title, all numbers as I see it match. All I need is this damn draft tube, and she's a daily driver. Do you have any ideas of where i may find this part. I was told the original part number is B8S 6758 then i was told it was a B5A 6758A.. none of which ford recognizes. It cant be that hard to find this damn thing, Thank you for your time in replying.
