Just called International dealer, parts dept, for a replacement CPS on my sig truck. He told me there were 2 different international part numbers available, depending on what the engine ID# was . For engine # below 375548 it is part # 1821720 and above that number it is part # 1825899. I have read many posts and threads about this so far, but nobody's ever mentioned this before... Can anyone make sense of it or tell me which one I need? Truck prod date is 6-98. Thanks for any help,
OOOps!! I should've seen it.
Quick question: Is the engine serial number the one on the driver's side valve cover? That says 0765325, 28 May 98, Navistar, Indianapolis Engine Plant
Thanks for that info Johnsdiesel
