I have a 95 ford F-250 with a 351 and automatic E4OD and four wheel drive. The truck has over 130,000 miles on the stock drivetrain. I found a rebuilt 7.3L Powerstroke and I was wanting to transplant it into my truck, but I have been unsuccessfull in finding any info on performing this swap. If any one has performed such swap, or has any suggestiions, or can recommend someone to call for advice, or knows a place that can help me in central Indiana I would apriciate any help. Thanks.
Do you have the powerstroke tranny and wiring harness computer? you will need all of these, thats all i know but
there is a gentleman in canada that i deal with for parts Niel Flannery who does these and has the parts in his junk yard lots cheaper than a US yard. He can tell you pretty much everything you will need and how to do it. 604 728 48+4
Have you tried Diesel Central? They have a forum just for engine swaps, perhaps someone there could help you out.

The swap is not as easy as it sounds. Don't forget the dual battery set-up, the fuel return system with switchover valve, the diesel exhaust system, the larger radiator, a 165 amp alternator, a diesel TECA (Transmission Electronic Control Assembly) to communicate with your E4OD, and the "wait to start" and "water in fuel" lights you'll need to add to your dashboard. Hope you can pull it off; let us know how it goes.
Im sorry his name is Niel Flannery of Vancouver B.C. he and his partners travel all over doing these conversions or just helping people, they have had all the parts and know what wiring problems youll encounter, radiator, hoses, fuel lines which are larger than a gas engine, tanks etc. E4OD conversions They do all sorts of odd things even have had customers inquire about putting a Power Stroke in a Scout. Didnt happen but they did offer an alternative. His phone number is (604) 728-4864 im sorry i hit the + keey instead of the 6 but you should call him hes been a wealth of help and parts for me.
