2004 Ranger 2.3l performance
I just purchased a brand new 2004 Ranger XLT. It's got a single cab and a flareside bed, along with a 5speed tranny and 3.73 gears. I would like to know if anyone knows of any companies offering performance parts for this hot little 4banger. I don't plan on doing any of these upgrades until the warranty is over, but I would like to start getting ideas of where to find parts right away. I've already got a K&N filter in it, soon to be upgraded to a cold air kit, and when it's time to change the oil, I'm gonna put Royal Purple in it. Any info on hotter cams, head, intake, and exhaust upgrades, as well as any turbo information would be greatly appreciated. 300hp is my future goal for this truck. Which means I'm most likely gonna need a heavier duty clutch. Like I said, any and all information on this will be greatly appreciated.
