Hey to all from a newbie to the board.
I have a 2000 explorer that has a whiney noise that I can't figure out. At first I thought it was the tranny. My son seems to think it is coming from somewhere other than the tranny. Has the sound of kinda what a turbo sounds like when it kicks in. Seems to be the loudest at 60 to 65 mph range and fades somewhat at 70. Any thought or ideas would be appreciated.
P.S. It isn't a turbo.
