sorry for shouting but the a/c thread did'nt help me..lol
does ANYONE know where this orifice tube is on the a/c system? i have a 87 B-II and i just cant find it..e-mail me a pic of one if anyone has one or please explain ( so i can understand ) where it might be located.....thanx
I don't have a pic but I just answered this same question at our Ranger forum. There's a tube running towards the accumulator/dryer, right before is gets there it has a fitting, the tube then continues under the dryer, the oritice is in the tube thats under the dryer.
O.K. One more REALLY important ????...Is the big round canister where i put the R-134 in (low side) the Dryer/accumilator??? is it? i need to know this..thanx!!!!I have never had a vehichle with working A/C before, and i am a pretty good mechanic(backyard type..lol)..that is why i need to know where the dryer/accumilator is located..so i can find the orifice tube..i think mine is clogged because i have plenty of pressure but no cold air..so no leak....no dye shows anywhere..but i still think it has a clog from putting in r-134a without flushing all the r-12 out..my badd..but at the time i just did'nt know....thanx!!
