Dumb AC question

My ac is blowing warm air...I figure that It's time to recharge the system. I went to my local parts store and bought a recharge kit. My hayes manual says to add the refrigerant on the low side of the ac system and that the plug from the recharg kit will only fit on the low side connector. Sounds simple enough...The only connector that I can find, won't take the female connector from the recharge kit - so that must be the high side, right??? On a 4.0 pushrod engine, where is the stupid low side connector????

Thanks in advance.

I hope you got a pressure gauge with the recharge kit. You should always check the pressure before adding more freon.

Indeed I did. I also spent a little extra and got one of the reusable hoses. The kind that has the pin that punctures the top of the can.

Thankls for the advice...It's blowing nice and cold now...
