spark plug threadsize
bought a used motor ,i know its a 79s windsor and its came out of a car. the problem is that i ask for plugs and the plugs are the wrong thread ,too small mine have the 18 or 13/16 socket .

I used rv17yc champion in my 79 and they fit no problem,what brand are you using ,I'm not sure but I think you got the wrong plugs.I can take the plugs out of my 429 and put then in my 351,the socket size is differernt but they fit.

just pulled the heads on sat and found that had some 70s casting 60cc chambers but theblock is a 79 and have 79 surpinetine alt is over ps pump very short belt but nice and compact what plug # would that be i think i put in champs #45s thanks
