I hurt myself!

I just got done dislocating my pinky playing basketball with my friends at school and letting the doctor putting it back in place. The semi-painful part. It's just now starting to hurt. I can't really type with this cast on, so I won't be posting much until I get this d@mn cast off in about 10 days. I'll post a pic of the X-ray soon.

I hurt myself!

A few years ago I dang near destroyed my right wrist doing reverse curls in the gym. The cartilege gave out...

It was a year and a half before I could really use it again.

What blows me away was that it was only a 90 pound bar....

Listen close to what the Doc tells you, if you want it back as soon as you can.

I hurt myself!

Man, it seems strange, it is amazing how having a bum finger will incapacitate you. I jammed the middle finger of my left hand at my son's little league practice a year ago and I still can't bend it!
I've tried and the pain definitely gets my attention!

Get well soon!

Chuck

I broke that finger towards the end of football season last year. they made some fiberglass thing for it, and our trainer taped a pad over it and I could still play. woo boy was that a painful thing to break

we were playing baseball in the park on wed and my friend was pitching. Somebody hit it right back to him and it beaned his thumb. It was hanging out of the socket until he popped it back in. It was pretty funny.

It's a little velcro type deal that is strapped to my pinky and index finger. It's got a metal ro and it holds it straight.

P.S. Man It took me a long time to type this post.

I hurt myself!

Hey I feel your pain. Last few years ago, I had the same problem, also playing basketball. The finger looks really ugly when it happen. My buddy, took me to the hospital, and he could not see the finger because it was nasty. Well the only thing I can recommend you, is keeping the cast, the doctor put two wooden sticks side to side of my finger with tape. After a few days, I took them off beause I thought I did not need this tupid sticks. Well my pinky finger does not stay straight like the other fingers. The pinky looks like a wide U, because I did not keep the wooden sticks. If you want the finger to heal right, keep the cast until the doctor says to get it out. Trust me, the pinky looks ugly now....
