Guys, what difference in performance and MPGs should I expect to get between a 2bbl and a 4bbl carb for a 351W?, thanks. Any of you have tried Holley's Truck Avenger?, is it any good?
71swissaqua tried the truck avenger and did not like it, he likes the demon, hopefully he will jump in and give you some thoughts on it.
I couldn't tell you what a 2bbl gets but I get about, 11-12mpg with a stock rebuilt 351w, performer intake, edelbrock performer 600 cfm carb with stock exhaust manifolds (at the time) true dual exhaust, c6 stock converter, 3.55:1 rear gears, using the cheap (read: cheapest available) gas. I had a 600cfm holley and got about the same but a bit less mpg. Compare that to what your getting with your 2bbl and see what you think. Good luck

Gas mileage will not go down unless you drive it hard. Theres the idea the 4bbl use more gas but under normal driving conditions they really don't. They use more gas when you stomp on the gas pedal. As for performance you looking at 20 to 25 hp more from a 4bbl.
