WTF? I'm ready for a Ford again
What the "h" is going on! All I ever see in in the Chevy forums is " how can I get better mileage", "How does this (this POS) piece of plastic look". It's like I'm with a bunch of whiny bitches anymore! Abendx! Monsta! Yeti! Help me!!!!!!!!! Did I mention my Silverado has been in the shop for AT LEAST a month since I bought it in October. No offense to the General, hail to the USA big three but sweet mother of Perl, this is BS! I'm ready for a friggin' Hyundai! Anywho, thought I'd drop by and let y' all know about the whiners I'm dealing with. Oh, and I'm off to St Louis tomorrow from my home of Portland, Oregon. Anyone gonn'a buy me a beer? No? Fine then, the company that is flying me out pays for the honor bar.

Ok, I've had a few so I may forget something along the way...
Carrier bearing (rearend rebuild)
Rotors out of round
Master cylinder
Hydro booster
Parking brake mechanism
OnStar mic
Side window (rear) leaking
Engine replacement (customer appreciation move of course)
Shop tore my leather (repair of seat)
Rear seat breakdown (needed to be "refilled")
Tailgate handle no worky
Low engine knock
Upper ingine clatter
Ok, I'm gonna stop here. I'm starting to weap. Now mind you, my 2000 F350 had many problems but the stealer could care less, hense why I jumped the fence. But I miss allthe pics of Monsta's sister of the truth be known.
And on a side note, what is the best lift for a Super Duty???

holy mackrel Sounds like you got a lemon there. And this is a new truck 2004 model. That sounds terrible. Doyou have many miles on this. Are you getting rid of the truck. Going to get a superduty?

It's an '03 that I bought in October. As of today it has 9,500 miles. Unfortunately, Oregon law does not consider this a lemon but I do. We'll see what the General says. And my daughter would be estatic if I got another Ford. As she always says, "I'm the Ford Princess" and she's only 5!

The engine problem sounds like the CSK issues Gm had with there vortech engines. I thought they had the problem solved I guess not. Good Luck with the outcome with your truck. Hopefully to see you in a ford again.

But Guys my neighbor has a silverado,and guess what it has greaseable ball joints ,I almost fell over when I saw them !
I wish ford had put them in,our 4x4's take a beating and will need replaced shortly !
But I'm not jumpin ship yet,also you still can keep them coil springs in the front

Hey, sorry to hear about your problems. All I owned before this SD Ford was GM's, and then instead of me continuing to bad mouth Ford, I decided to try them out. Best choice I ever made for a truck. I thought GM's where the greatest, I won't even go into all the problems I had with all of mine, new and used. I can honestly say that out of all my vehicles that I owned, this is my favorite (and I have owned quite a few). The technology and quality that Ford uses and applies is far superior to GM trucks hands down.
