5.4 EGR problem

99 F250 5.4 with about 115k miles on it. Check engine light said egr below efficiency. Replaced the egr valve and cleaned everything out good. ABout 70 miles later the light comes on again for the same thing. Cleared it and again about 70 miles later it comes on again.

Anything else I need to clean out with regards to the egr system or does anyone have any input?

Did you clean the ports in the intake under the throttlebody? If not start there. If they are ok, it may be a bad DPFE sensor.
