Header .....Bolts ...vs...Studs

...........I have the front end off my 77 hiboy due to a PS conversion. Which means I have Total access to the engine and my headers. Currently, they are being held by bolts, which I can't seem to keep tight. I'm thinking of replacing the bolts with a set of ARP studs . Will the Studs maintain their "tightness" as opposed to the bolts slowly becoming loose???? Maybe it is impossible to keep either fastner tight due to the expansion and contraction of the headers because of the great changes in engine Temperature . Any enlightened comments would be appreciated, thanks, s.kuteman

You may run into clearance issues with some of the studs hitting the header tube. Why not try Stage 8 locking header bolts?
