Replacing Gear Shift ****

I'm in a the process of buying a present for a friend that has a '99
F150. The only problem is I don't know the thread count for the gear shift to tell the company that I'm buying the **** from anyone who could help I would appreciate it. thanks.

You're talking about a manual transmission shifter, right? My previous 2000 F150 didn't have any threads, it just pulled off. A universal **** with a set screw on the side should work.
