Holly to a Ford

I want to place a Ford 4350 on a 390 Ford. It originally came stock with a Holly.I need a spacer plate. Is there any difference between plates. There is two available to me. There is one flat plate with one large hole for around $ 23.00 or there is a plate that matches holes for around $150.00 Help can I use the cheaper model?

you could go with the one that is one big hole but i think it would be best to go with the 4 port just to keep things even flowing

Thank you I found one at Summit Racing products. Its on the way.I felt better with a tight fit.

The open hole spacer on a 4 hole intake will cause a lot of turbulence between the carb and intake. Those are designed for open plenum intakes. The 4 hole spacer is the way to go.
