Bearings gone kaput.......
99 F-350 dually with 59,000 miles. A couple of days ago while on I 93 which is a smooth road I noticed a strange roar from the left front. Having read that the bearings have been noted to fail at around 60,000 I put the big guy in the ford shop. The call came in earlier and the bearings, races, seals, spindle, and strangely and axle too will be replaced. Thank goodness for Fords ESP warranty. I have also told them about the overdrive light flashing and the speedo dying. That is just what I don't need, the tranny to die even if the thing is under warranty.
