frame question
Hi all, I'm new to this board. I have a 1995 Ford F-150 4x4, and I was wondering if the frame is the same as what's on a 3/4 ton about the same age. I have been told that the frame should be the same except for the cross supports. Someone said that there are more supports on a 3/4 ton. Anyway, I am wanting to convert it to a 3/4 ton with a solid front axle, (probably a Dana 60), with a NV4500 tranny and not sure about the transfer case just yet. This is part of a buildup for a later engine swap.

frame question
If I remember correctly, the frames are not the same. I had a 92 F-250 and my father had a 150 and the frames are not the same, his was thinner and the front end of the frame looked as though it had a crumple zone area built in.
