My names Dan Sheppard, I have an E-350 cargo van on order, being built on March 7. Im 26, this is my first vehicle Iv ever bought. I was wondering if anyone on here has any thoughts on the type of fuel you use in your trucks/vans. Reason I ask is Ford says in there manual to avoid gases with metallic compounds added to them, same with ethanol, as they can cause serious harm to your fuel system. Has anyone heard of this before? Iv been trying to find out what the gas companies up here in ontario put in our gas but haven't had much luck yet. Would love to know what my fellow Ontarians have to say on the subject.
Dennis Gilks here from ottawa ontario got a 88 f150 2wd inline six 300 in dire need of rebuild, in response to dan not sure what they put in our gas here but it must be valuble cause they charge an arm and leg (some times first born) for it
Welcome to the boards. Nothing wrong with driving a Mazda Ranger, my father in law loves the Mazda pickups and says the parts are cheaper from the Mazda dealer than the Ford dealer.
