It started and since then it will not start without the starting fluid or being plugged up even in 60 degree weather . Please help this is my first diesel and i am still learning
NEVER, NEVER, NEVER USE STARTING FLUID IN ONE OF "THESE" DIESELS.
If you have to use WD 40. Starting fluid will blow the ends off your glow plugs, then you have little pieces of element going through your cylinders. as a rule if you have to replace 4 or more glow plugs replace the controler too. If the glow plug controler is faulty it will burn out your glow plus "fast". That is what it sounds like is happening here. When removing your glow plugs, best to have the engine atleast a little warm by plugging it in. When installing new glow plugs you can put just a "little" anti-sieze on the threads to keep them from sticking, for easier replacement later if needed.
