Help Please!!!
I have an 83 ford f150 manual 4 speed 4 X 4. Every time i drive it for like 20 minutes it will just lose speed and then die on me. Its like the engine keeps running but it has no power. If anyone could please tell me how to fix this problem i would very much appreciate it considering my truck is broke down on the side of the interstate right now.

if it still has the cat on it, it sounds like it is stopped up. or it could be the muffler or a pipe collapsed. if that is the case cut the exhaust off just in front of the cat. if it has the 2 pre cats on it you will have to unbolt the exhaust from the manifolds. noisy but it will get you home and to a muffler shop.
