Hi guys, a friend has a F150 1986 with electric caby configuration, remember??? that was the first ECM used by Ford to controll ignition timing, engine Idle and fuel mixture, was not so popular but there are some running yet.
My question: since my friend truck is 1986 there is no O2 sensor available from Ford, so i was wondering, Can I replace it by the new model used on 1991-1996 trucks?, the difference is the new model is heated sensor but it just need be connected to 12 Vdc to activate heater, so I guess it should work.
