8" Rear end numbers

I purchased a 8" rear end off a 1968 Mustang and would like to know where the ID number is located.

Mine had a ratio tag on one of the carrier studs. Had the ratio and other info. Might be some numbers cast into the carrier, but the ratio can vary on those so it will be on the tag if the tag is still there. If it was a std dif, look for it to be 2.79's. Mine was a 289 2v 3spd with that axle.
