i want to install coil spring spacers, 2". does this affect my camber/caster angle and will i need an allignment after, because of how it changes the ttb angle on my 88 f150?? i put a 6 inch lift on the truck but the front springs fianlly settled and it looks gay compared to the back.
anything you do to modify your suspension will alter your alignment.....so yes it will be off, but i dunno if it owuld be enough to have to get it re-aligned.
This may not be relevant, but I put 2" coil spacers on my old truck.......01 Ram Off-Road and it did help to get it aligned. It was off enough to make the alingment worth while. Especially since I put new tires on at the same time.
Ive got a 2WD twin I beam ranger that I just got done putting 2" coil spacers on, and the tops of my front tires were out farther than the bottoms, (dont know what thats called) when I took it to be aligned they had to buy some "alignment kit" because it was farther out of alignment than the stock setup could be aligned, it cost about 190 bucks to get the kit, install it and align it. but maybe its diffent for a F 150 vs a Ranger
it was actually something that went on the end of the I beam where the spindle, (at least what I would call the spindle) is bolted on, on the top and the bottom was left stock, they told me it just gives it more play so they can align it farther
