Audible Alarm

Audible Alarm
I own a '97 F-150 4X4. I had a problem with the driver side airbag not working and giving the dash warning light. But the other day, I replaced my driving lights on the front bumper and after this, when I start my truck. I get 5 beeps for 5 times (alarm is coming from the passangerside kick panel, computer I think) then it stops. I noticed the airbag warning indicator is now "not lit". I'm at a loss here, please any info would be great.
As a second question, I am looking for indepth info for my truc, I am looking at the Chilton's CD-ROM for my truck. Do you have any better suggestions.
Thanks for any help,
Gene

Hi Gene and welcome to the forum
The beeping is from the air bag diagnostic monitor and is happening because the light on the dash isnt working.
If a system fault is present and the air bag indicator is malfunctioning, an audible tone will be heard. The tone is a series of five sets of five beeps. If the tone is heard, the air bag system needs attention.
When you replaced the driving lights did you maybe accidently disconnect the air bag crash sensor on the rad support?
