I know some of you gear-heads have replaced the ball joints on your truck On a scale of 1 to 10, how hard is it? I'm a fairly experienced mechanic but have never tackled ball joints.... BTW, 1995 F-350 PSD.
Depending on what you call Difficult I would say its a 5 out of 10
It involves tearing down the hubs and getting the spindle off then
pressing out the old joint and pressing in the new, then reassembly.
I did it a few times on the old Dana 60's from the 70's
and it looks like my 97 Dana 60 is the same.
